The built-in H13 HEPA cassette (EN 1822 certified) captures 99.97% of all airborne particles at the most penetrating particle size of 0.3 µm. At this grade, the filter is effective against fine PM2.5 dust, pollen (including fragmentary sub-5 µm particles), mould spores, pet dander, tobacco smoke, diesel soot, and airborne bacteria. Unlike ESP filtration which can produce trace ozone as a by-product of the corona discharge process, H13 HEPA is entirely passive — no emissions, no ionisation, and no ozone. Differential pressure indicator signals cassette saturation for timely replacement — typically annually in moderate environments.

Two washable PSY polymer cross-flow enthalpy cores recover both sensible heat and latent moisture at 92% total efficiency — identical to the NB and GLB variants at 250 m³/h. The enthalpy core is physically separate from the HEPA cassette — maintaining the hygroscopic exchange function regardless of HEPA cassette saturation state. The 70W DC brushless centrifugal fan is rated to maintain 250 m³/h at the additional static pressure imposed by the H13 HEPA cassette — ensuring rated airflow is delivered even as the filter accumulates loading. Minimum speed produces 25 dB(A) for unobtrusive bedroom operation. The 986.5 × 641 × 228.8 mm body dimension is identical to the AHE25NB and AHE25GLB — allowing direct substitution within the same installation space when upgrading to HEPA filtration. Ø150 mm duct connections support the same multi-room distribution network designs as other AHE25 variants.
