Technical Highlights

The AHE15JDB is the JDB HEPA variant of the compact 150 m³/h AHE residential line. It combines the space efficiency of Ø100 mm ducting with the particle-removal certainty that only a genuine H13 HEPA filter can provide.

H13 HEPA Filter
H13 HEPA Filter — 99.97% at 0.3 µm
The built-in H13 HEPA cassette meets EN 1822 grade H13: it captures ≥99.97% of all airborne particles at the most penetrating particle size (MPPS) of 0.3 µm. This includes fine PM2.5 dust, pollen, mould spores, pet dander, tobacco smoke particles, diesel soot, and most airborne bacteria. Unlike ESP (which can produce trace ozone) and unlike F7 (which passes submicron particles), H13 HEPA is a purely mechanical filter with no by-products and certified particle capture. Replacement cassettes are changed annually or when differential pressure indicator signals saturation.
PSY Polymer Enthalpy Core
PSY Polymer Enthalpy Cores — 92% Total Recovery
The JDB variant retains the same washable PSY polymer cross-flow enthalpy cores as the NB and GLB siblings. At 150 m³/h, the single core achieves 92% total energy recovery — transferring both heat and humidity from exhaust to supply air. This prevents the desiccating winter air that an exhaust-only ventilation system with HEPA filtration would produce. Enthalpy exchange ensures that filtered fresh air arrives at near-indoor temperature without electric reheating in all but the most extreme climates.
BLDC Fan 45W Quiet Operation
45W BLDC Fan — 22 dB(A) Minimum
Despite the additional static pressure imposed by the H13 HEPA cassette, the 45W BLDC centrifugal fan maintains rated 150 m³/h flow — and at minimum speed drops to 22 dB(A), making it one of the quietest ventilation units in its class at night mode. Variable speed control (30–100%) allows demand-controlled ventilation. The 760 × 497 × 228.8 mm body fits in compact ceiling cavities found in smaller apartments, and the Ø100 mm duct connections simplify retrofitting where larger-bore ducting is impractical.

Applications

The AHE15JDB is selected when air quality requirements cannot be met by F7 or ESP alone — for medical, family health, or extreme pollution scenarios where 99.97% particle capture is a hard requirement, not a preference.

Allergy & Asthma Households
H13 HEPA removes allergens that pass F7 filters — including fine pollen fragments, dust mite faecal particles at sub-5 µm, and fungal spore fragments. For households where one or more occupants require certified allergen-free air, the JDB is the only AHE residential variant that provides medical-level assurance. Combine with activated carbon pre-treatment for VOC and odour removal if required.
Newborn & Infant Rooms
Infants spend a disproportionate time indoors and have developing respiratory systems with heightened sensitivity to fine particles. The AHE15JDB is appropriately sized for a single bedroom or nursery installation and delivers certified clean air around the clock without noise levels that disturb sleep — 22 dB(A) minimum is quieter than a whisper.
Medical Clinics & Consultation Rooms
Small private clinics, dental surgeries, and consultation rooms require air changes and particle filtration above residential norms. The AHE15JDB delivers continuous H13-grade fresh air with full energy recovery — a significant advantage over standalone HEPA purifiers that recirculate, rather than replace, indoor air.
