Technical Highlights

The AHE25GLB delivers the same proven energy recovery performance as the AHE25NB but upgrades the filtration stage to an active ESP electrostatic precipitator — eliminating the pressure drop penalty of dense media filters while dramatically improving fine particle capture.

The GLB electrostatic precipitator charges incoming particles using a corona discharge ionizer, then captures them on grounded collection plates — achieving PM2.5 removal efficiency exceeding 95% without a dense filter medium. This is approximately 10× better PM2.5 capture compared to an F7 mechanical filter. Because ESP creates near-zero pressure drop across the filtration stage, the fan operates more efficiently and delivery of rated 250 m³/h is maintained even as plates accumulate dust. Collection plates are removable and self-clean under running water — no replacement filter cartridges required.

Dual PSY Polymer Enthalpy Cores — 92% Recovery
Two washable PSY polymer cross-flow enthalpy cores recover both sensible heat and latent moisture simultaneously, achieving 92% total energy recovery at rated flow. The polymer matrix is hydrophilic — capturing water vapour from exhaust air and transferring it to the fresh air stream, preventing winter indoor air from drying out. Cores are chemically inert, mould-resistant, and flush clean without special chemicals. Service interval is every 3–6 months depending on ambient dust load.

70W BLDC Fan — Self-Cleaning ESP Plates
The 70W DC brushless centrifugal fan maintains full 250 m³/h at the Ø150 mm connection ports without exceeding 40 dB(A) at maximum speed — and drops to a barely-audible 25 dB(A) in night mode. Because ESP plates produce no measurable increase in flow resistance over time (unlike clogging media filters), the fan power draw is consistent throughout the service cycle. ESP collection plates are pulled out as a tray, rinsed under a tap, dried, and reinstalled — the full maintenance cycle takes under 10 minutes.

ESP plates capture the same particle load but require only periodic rinsing — reducing both maintenance burden and running cost in high-dust environments.
Households With Asthma & Allergies
Submicron particles, diesel soot, and biological aerosols are captured by the electrostatic field even when they would pass through F7 mechanical fibres.
