MIA-D1BT XF·D Compact Fresh Air Dehumidifier

The MIA-D1BT combines continuous fresh air supply with active refrigeration-based dehumidification, delivering filtered outdoor air while simultaneously reducing indoor relative humidity. An ideal entry-level solution where floor drains or condensate pumps are unavailable.

H13 HEPA Filtration — 99.95% Capture

Medical-grade H13 HEPA filter captures particles down to 0.3 µm with 99.95% efficiency. Removes pollen, mould spores, fine dust, and PM2.5 particles from incoming fresh air before distribution — critical for humid-climate installations where mould spore counts in outdoor air are elevated. Filter life approximately 12 months under normal residential use.

Active Refrigeration Dehumidification

Integrated refrigeration cycle cools incoming air below its dew point, condensing moisture onto the evaporator coil. Condensate collects in the built-in tank — capacity sufficient for 24–48 hours of operation at rated conditions (30°C / 80% RH). A float switch halts operation before overflow, alerting the user to empty the tank. Simple and reliable with zero pump components to maintain.

D1 Compact Inline Design

Ø150 mm inlet and outlet connections integrate directly into standard residential duct networks. Compact body designed for ceiling void installation or utility cupboard mounting. Lightweight 18 kg unit can be installed by two persons without specialist lifting equipment. Variable-speed BLDC fan delivers 28–40 dB(A) operating range, maintaining acceptable noise levels in bedroom corridors.

Applications

The D1BT targets installations where dehumidification need is moderate and manual condensate management is acceptable — offering the lowest cost of entry into the XF·D Compact range.

Small Apartments up to 80 m²

250 m³/h is adequate for studios and 1-bedroom apartments needing both fresh air and dehumidification. Covers up to 4 supply outlets at standard 60 m³/h per room. Manual tank emptying is manageable in smaller spaces where occupants are regularly present.

Rental Properties and Refurbishments

Lower unit cost versus the auto-drain D1BF makes this ideal for renovation projects with limited budgets. Simple installation without requiring condensate drain pipework. The unit can later be upgraded by swapping to the D1BF if continuous unattended operation becomes a requirement.

Seasonal Humidity Control

Particularly effective in continental climates with pronounced humid summer seasons. Operates in dehumidification-only mode when outdoor air quality is acceptable, or in full fresh air + dehumidification mode during high-humidity periods. Humidity setpoint adjustable via compatible MIA controllers.
