Identical performance to the D1BT but with a built-in condensate pump that automatically discharges collected water through a 6 mm condensate hose — eliminating the need for manual tank emptying or a nearby floor drain. Suitable for basements, utility rooms, and any location where unattended continuous operation is required.

The MIA-D1BF upgrades the proven D1 platform with a built-in condensate pump that silently lifts collected water up to 5 metres vertically, routing it to any suitable drain point — sink waste, exterior wall, or roof — without requiring a gravity floor drain in the installation space.

Built-in Fully Automatic Condensate Pump

The BF (Built-in Fully-automatic) pump activates automatically when condensate level rises, discharging collected water through a standard 6 mm OD condensate hose. Pump lift height up to 5 m vertical, enabling drainage to sinks, exterior walls, or roof outlets located well above the unit. Float sensor triggers pump before tank overflows — safe, silent, and unattended. No manual intervention required.

H13 HEPA + Active Dehumidification

Incoming fresh air passes through the H13 HEPA stage before entering the refrigeration dehumidification circuit. The refrigeration cycle cools air below dew point, condensing moisture while simultaneously pre-cooling supply air — reducing air conditioning load in humid summer climates. 15 L/day rated capacity at 30°C / 80% RH keeps basement and ground-floor spaces dry year-round.

Basement and Below-Grade Installation Ready

Unlike gravity-drain systems, the D1BF requires no floor drain in the plant room. The built-in pump routes condensate upward to available drain points — enabling installation in below-grade basements, under-stair cupboards, and mechanical rooms where drainage infrastructure is absent. 20 kg body is ceiling-void and bracket-mountable with standard M10 hanger rods.

Applications

The D1BF is specified wherever manual condensate management is impractical — holiday homes, rental properties, basement conversions, and mechanical rooms without floor drains.

Basements and Below-Grade Spaces

Below-grade spaces accumulate moisture from ground infiltration and condensation on cool surfaces. The D1BF runs continuously without requiring occupant presence to empty a tank. Paired with a humidity controller, it maintains below 60% RH — preventing mould growth, structural damage, and musty odour in storage areas and converted living spaces.

Holiday Homes and Unoccupied Properties

Properties left unoccupied for weeks or months are vulnerable to humidity damage. The D1BF operates autonomously throughout, keeping interior humidity in check without requiring visits to empty collection tanks. Compatible with remote monitoring controllers for peace-of-mind status reporting.

Small Apartments — Fully Hands-Free

For occupants who prefer a completely maintenance-free fresh air system, the D1BF delivers the same 250 m³/h fresh air and 15 L/day dehumidification as the D1BT — without any tank-emptying routine. Slim Ø150 mm connections suit apartments where ductwork routes through ceiling voids without major structural works.
